Man.
Guess what happend an hour ago.
I was tightning lug bolts on my car and one just snapped off. . . . . . . .
(cheap piece of shtis from edge racing)
Good lord that its rear bolts..

Well I just can't get any spare bolts until next week.. even if I get some this weekend, I won't have any time to pull out the broken piece of shit and change rest of the bolts on my car to stock bolts.

So here is my questions concerning my life and my mini's life..
Is it O K to run with 3 bolts on 1 rear wheel? Cause I have to go to an airport to drop someone off, drive around for about 100 miles tomorrow.. omg..

Please tell me it will be ok.

when i changed my wheels 2 weeks ago the guy forgot to put one lug in the back driver side wheel and i drove like that till like 2 days ago, i think its ok, just tighted up the three.

you should be fine with 3 tight bolts, but with no high speeds or aggressive driving.

After it happened to me at the track one day, I got some nice hardened chrome lugbolts from Summit Racing and haven't had a problem since. I agree with all the above; the car won't puke a wheel without LOTS of warning wobble and unsteadyness. You should be OK.

it happens when the bolts arent fixed with a precision torque wrench
with the prescripted torque values (120nm usually)!

dont thrust installers that dont use it!

Thank you all guys!

I fixed it up at a shop near my work last saturday
tapping the bolt out and replacing it with a new one.

Costed me about 80 bucks total though.. :( :( :(

At least!!! I could drive like a maniac on my way to airport..!

Thank you all!!!! Hah!
