I dig'em....they've got more of a motorsports feel when you put them on a MINI.

Yah, that's what I thought, too.

I am kinda changin' direction and gonna do some BMW accents on my DS/B. This might be just the ticket.

Any issues with an et35 on stock suspension? Seems like it would be OK on clearance with the right amount of camber.

How low are you?

It's a tight fit....but i think you could possibly work with it?

depends on tire size too... a wide tire will rub bad on the rear... stock suspension SHOULD work ok though

I'm stock R53 "S" height. Never measured the clearance, but running 215/45/17 now on factory BBS R90s and there is plenty of clearance.

Do you plan on going lower?

It wouldn't rub at stock height if you picked a normal sized tire.

No plans to go lower in the near-term. Ohio + potholes + frost heave = baby Jesus crying when I hit the bumpstops.

Sounds like they should be fine i think.....just gonna be close

A 7.5" rim would "stretch" a 215 a bit more than the stock 7.0" rim, resulting in a bit more clearance, too. Right?

i'd try a 215/40/17 on them. You should be cool with that. If you start rubbing once you lower you could always toss 2 degrees of camber up front and 1.5 in back and you will be g2g.

The 7.5" and et 35 make it a tight fit. But I'm running 7" et37 with a 5mm spacer. So that's 7" et 32 with a 205/45 and I don't rub.

I was going to say, those are VERY BMW in look, I've seen that style a lot around here.

Yeah, they are reminiscent of the CSL wheels...

...which I view as a good thing.

I really like those BBS's on those MINI's...I'm sure they cost a pretty penny tho!

Seller wants $1K for the set. It's on certainly the high side, but not outrageous.

It is what is holding me back, though. :laff:

nice wheels, looks hot on a lowered car, but then the offset becomes an issue (nothing a dremel can't take care off )...

LOL, most tire shops can roll your fender lip without a Dremel!
