So, who's playing?

I'm TheWanderer21. Currently having issues connecting to a game hopefully that'll clear up soon.

search for drkSide in your server browser. That's my clan's public server. If you're trying to connect and can't add me as a friend and I'll kick a random so you can get on. game name kewlstorybrah also the same on origin.

i want to get it, i'm just not sure if i can swing the funds or if i'll have time to really get into it :(

This game is SOOO good! Im loving it, so much so I doubt I will get mw3 until it starts popping up cheap and used lol. I really had my doubts about the game but it has been loads of awesome. I will say... I didnt like the campaign if your into that. also im playing it on ps3

i ended up getting it, my temporary xbox live tag is jcwithers since my normal one got hacked and is locked down.

Krista is going to be gone all weekend so I foresee a lot of BF3 time.

Ya the game is awesome. I'm having a lot of fun when I get time to play. I may actually invest in a headset. :P

I have a headset but I can never get bluetoothheadsets to work right for ps3 lol... I love flying the helicopters super high when they are loaded with people and then jumping out

hmmm i might have to check this out... but i did just get COD today. so prolly not for a while.

my roomate got cod, I played it for an hour and its just not fun after parachuting off cliffs sniping people mid air :laff:

Ive got it on ps3 playing as Tamestiggy. I'll probably get CoD as well

am i the only one on xbox? i just can't seem to get used to playing FPS' on the PS3 controller :(

yea it took me a while to get use to it. I bought battlefield on ps3 since my ps3 is at the gf place and im there more often than not. I would prefer to play it on xbox though lol. its really hard going back and forth between the two

What kits do you guys prefer?

once you get the sks + red dot + flashlight it becomes easy mode lol.

I haven't played enough to gain anything but the defib unit yet, but that's really all I need. I love being a medic in this game.

I've been working on sniping. It takes a lot of practice to get consistent with. When I get pissed I switch to the medic kit with the 870 shotgun. :laff:

I love medics, when I get revived it makes my day.. but I only get revived in the middle of taking fire and immediately die again

also I love the 870 as a sniper lol. I use the portable thing and go look around for a bunch of people in buildings and then go charge them haha

sniping long range is fun, but putting a low variable optic on the sks and running around with it like a rifle works really well so you can kinda do everything in that class. also the 5th rifle you get the .338 one one shots people so no more annoying 2-3 shot long distance sniping

That's the rule. You only get revived long enough to got shot again.

Well maybe for the morons, but I don't rez people unless the area is cleared or we're well protected. If someone gets killed out in the open in the middle of a firefight they can go fuck themselves :laff:

So anybody have MW3 and BF3?

Any comparison? Like one more or less? Post up your observations & comments.

I could compare it to black ops and MW2 :shrug:

I don't have both but my good friend has MW3 so when I play that I'll compare.

mw3 is almost exctly like mw2 and blackops. Tiny maps, fast pace gameplay with lots of spawn camping and quickscoping. They made it so shotguns are a primary class now and the guns are slightly more custom but the gameplay itself is exactly the same as blackops/mw2. Still awesome just not as "new feeling" as bf3. if you play team death match mw3 and battlefield are pretty similar as team death match in bf3 is very fast pace like mw3. conquest uses huge portions of the map and rush uses epicly hug maps so vehicles and more team play is involved in bf3. graphics kinda go towards bf3 I think and you can totally destroy a building if someone is camping inside of it racking up kills. But Ive always loved cod graphics and they have not changed since the last game soooo.... oh and the knife animation for bf3 is awesome lol.

well usually someone comes into a room shoots you, the medic in the room instead of shooting that guy lays down and res you while thedude is standing over the top of you both. dunno how many times that happens lol. Im still only level 21 so most people are still figuring it out that I get paired with. That is oone thing about bf3 is leveling is way slower... I played mw3 all day long and it got me to level 35 an Ive been playing bf3 for a week I guess and im still only at level 21 lol. with that said.. Ive basically unlocked everthing in the sniper class already except the use of the svd for both classes.

Cool - I'm leaning towards BF3 so this helps make that decision easier...

Having played MW2, BF2, and BF3, I prefer the Battlefield series, in general. BF3 is a really pretty game, I like the gameplay some of the multiplayer maps are HUGE. I think MW3 is more of an arcade style shooter whereas BF3 is a little more realistic.

Yeah - I have a lot more fun in BFBC2 then I did in MW. Only had a * cough * "dem" version of MW2 so I couldn't play it online, but if like MW - then it would be too shoot & scoot arcade like for my tastes. That's one of the things I like about BFBC2 - if you get a good team together and play tactical you can have a lot of fun.

Now I just have to save and get a copy of BF3. Hoping it drops a bit in price near/after Christmas - or I get a real job that allows for more toy purchases. :P

I play every couple days usually in the evening after my daughter goes to bed. Im on Xbox Live so anyone else with X360 add me "Gilboyto". I usually play conquest for the larger maps

Too many kids and trolls on CoD games. Give me wide open spaces anyday. BF>CoD
