New job = new MINI?
Hey dudes (and dudettes)!
I just landed a sales gig that's gonna require me having a sweet ride. I've been drooling over the DuelL AG Countryman and it fits my needs (cargo space, AWD capability, MINI, etc.), but I want to pick one up from a myooer and not just a random dealer. My mom bought her '10 from Chris at South Bay back in the day, and I'd love to do the same with someone near the Bay Area (San Francisco, CA). So, the question is… Do any of my myoo brethren or sisteren work at a MINI dealer nearby? I'd love to come see you and discuss a Countryman S or JCW! If anyone works for MINI in CA at all, I'd gladly exchange PMs about it, as a road trip to start off with the new (or CPO) R60 sounds great too. Let me know what's good! :tu: - Puma |

Haha you guys know I'll deliver! Looks like I'm going to be driving a Civic for a while so I can save enough to put a fat down payment on the MINI, but I've already been in touch with a few companies for aftermarket parts (*cough*bags*cough*wheels*cough*aerokit*coughcough cough*).

Im running 18x8.5 et 38 (E36 M3 fitment) on NM springs about to go to Megan coilovers. On my current set up I can clear 255/35/18's on all four corners.

Good intel. I'll be getting on later today to dig through the site and start learning more. My understanding is that the engine and transmission are pulled from the R56. Does that mean I can run most R56 upgrades there (eg. short shifter, turbo enhancements, etc)?
