20% off + Free shipping!?

Howdy!

My name is David and I am the Parts and Performance Advisor at MINI of The Woodlands in The Woodlands, Texas. I'm here to offer you 20% off all OEM parts plus free shipping to all 50 states in the US. I only ask that you help me help you by following the ordering format I have

schaeferd@autonation.com is my work email.

Please use that. On any order include as much info as you can. Last 7 of the VIN is ace. Year and type help as well. If you don't know what you're looking for please be descriptive. If you know the part number please include it.

www.realoem.com is a nice place to fine part numbers.

I provide tracking numbers upon shipment. :) This is ONLY for active M|Uers. Must have over 35 posts.

:tu:

Edit: Really big stuff is difficult to ship. x_x I can meet you halfway on anything really big. Also, body panels and glass is difficult as well. I'm sure we can work something out though.

Check our site for specials, too! Sometimes we have killer deals (when I get the chance to update them!)

Awesome deal! I think I'm going to pick up some aero skirts and maybe a JCW wheel!

chipgrafx 01-19-2007 07:11 PM

Whoa... thanks!! I might interested in a JCW wheel as well. And maybe some carbon fiber bits too. I'll PM you with my wants. :D

JacqtheShark 01-19-2007 07:32 PM

How about a group buy on teh JCW wheels - what could we get the cost down to... with how many units (I personally know of about a half dozen that would go for it)

Lemme know. :) Please email though! :( I need to keep track of this stuff. I am the most disorganised person ever.

RFIbanez 01-19-2007 07:41 PM

If you do a group buy on the wheels put me on the list! :D

Brain 01-19-2007 07:46 PM

what is the best price anyone has seen so far?

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 07:48 PM

What wheel style?

Brain 01-19-2007 07:51 PM

I think they are refering to steering wheels

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 07:55 PM

Ah hah! Lemme get you a price. :) I want one too! Can I get in on the group buy. :D

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 07:59 PM

How does $400 sound?

$585.00 MSRP.

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 08:07 PM

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JCW-J...QQcmdZViewItem

Maybe not.

Ok, $385.00 shipped.

chipgrafx 01-19-2007 08:22 PM

Well... if it's a group buy (minimum of 6) how about 20% off that $375 price that Morristown MINI charges?

:tu: or :thumbsdow?

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 08:25 PM

Dealer cost is $349.80 :) I can't go any lower. That Morristown offer is good. I won't be making any money off this.

Morristown charges $375 plus $15 shipping.

$385 is the lowest I can go. :( Sorry.

JacqtheShark 01-19-2007 08:50 PM

I think that's a killer deal boys... I'd be game - has anyone seen one in person (I remember someone at the Autox having one last year) Is there red stitching on the wheel - and the suede portion.. it felt real nice..

whatdaya think Chipster>

No worries, I just thought I'd throw it out there. You never know unless you ask, right?

Dave and Glen both have this wheel, it was probably one of theirs that you saw. I really want one but I'm not sure I have the money (or the okay) for one right now. Have to talk to the financial department. ;)

Is that different than the wheel we're all loking for (with the suede and leather?)

also - does anyone know if there is red stiching on the wheel? (Its hard to make out how it looks online pics are low res)

Thanks.

I dont think they sell a suede wheel.....I'm pretty sure they are all alcantra (which is just like suede)

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 09:27 PM

There is a leather wheel and the alcantara wheel.

Brain 01-19-2007 09:30 PM

they are both the same price. and if it does have red stitching I will buy one if there is a group buy.

$385 is a great price! I just checked and our cost is $385 so...if its $385 or less shipped I will more than likely get one too. ( if red stitched )

MotoringSpeed 01-19-2007 09:46 PM

Wow Brain, you get a good price. :D

RFIbanez 01-19-2007 10:06 PM

I don't think there is red stitching on the wheel...

Also, the alcantara wheel isn't fully wrapped in alcantara...just the top and bottom of the wheel. The middle part (where you hold while daily driving/cruising) is leather because alcantara tends to wear quickly.

I'm very interested in a wheel!

JacqtheShark 01-19-2007 10:18 PM

Is the leather portion on the sides any different than the current wheel's leather - or is it softer somehow>

I really need to check one out in person i think - or perhaps glen or Dave will guide us since they have them....

goaljnky 01-19-2007 10:22 PM

I would be down for one, maybe 2 with the CFO's approval. Got a birthday coming up so I can certainly guilt her into 1.

BE4TNUT 01-19-2007 10:23 PM

Its the same leather as the all leather version, the only difference is the top and bottom portions are alcantara and not leather. The parts you hold normally (if driving at 10 and 2 (or 9 and 3)) are leather for purposes of not wearing out like was already stated. If you are switching from the 2-Spoke to the 3-Spoke wheel though you also need a new airbag.

How much for the 3-Spoke airbag?

goaljnky 01-19-2007 10:42 PM

Oh, hey. Do you loose the radio and cruise control buttons with the JCW wheel?

JacqtheShark 01-19-2007 10:43 PM

no - it still works

goaljnky 01-19-2007 10:48 PM

cool. gimme

BE4TNUT 01-19-2007 11:31 PM

I need to talk to someone that has this and went from the 2-Spoke 2003 wheel with MFSW controls to the JCW Wheel with MFSW controls. Please PM me.

I think the difference in the leather is that the JCW wheel is real leather and the stock wheel is the same synthetic leather as the seats (and shift boots).
