Helix now carries the Cockpit Specialties Gauge Faces

As seen here on our website these new gauge faces are really quite remarkable. Randal from Cockpit Specialties payed us a visit yesterday to show off the quality of their work, and it gets the big thumbs-up. We now carry all of their color matched dials, custom dials, and even a Helix logoed dial set for the truly disturbed. If you're local you can have them installed at the shop! You can see them here:

and here are a couple of examples. Great stuff.

hey Ralph, how much are you guys charging to do the install? mine just arrived yesterday but it's too darned cold outside to try and put it in right now :P

One hours worth of labor to do the install. So $75 plus tax.

Are these still available all these years later?

I wondered the same thing and went to their site to check, could not find then in either 1st or 2nd gen areas.

Cockpit Specialties gauge faces were discontinued years ago. Anything still available would be leftover unsold stock. Detroit Tuned apparently has a few: http://www.detroittuned.com/cockpit-...ecialty-faces/ (Google is your friend)

I've tried (and returned) a set years ago. I wasn't happy with uneven nighttime illumination, and the black ones were hard to read during the day.

Outmotoring also has gauge faces of their own design (Cockpit Specialties version is based on OEM design). There are also vendors that make vinyl overlays (not complete replacement gauge panel).
