First post updated (with a plug for Drewmon).

trip024 08-15-2008 10:59 PM

Exposure's another app that works in conjunction w/ Flickr. I really like the "near me" feature as this shows you pictures of places close to you.

hendricks488 08-16-2008 01:11 AM

main ones that I have and use are free...facebook, sportstap, showtimes, yellowpages, and myspace but hey I'm a college kid I use those kinda things daily

trip024 08-16-2008 02:49 AM

Just downloaded the LA Traffic Cam app. It links up to the live NBC traffic cam feeds. Extremely handy in helping us Cali folks avoid traffic jams :tu:

alden 08-16-2008 02:51 AM

Simplify media

allowing you to stream your entire iTunes music library (plus up to 30 of your friends') to your iPhone. . The official app has all the features of the old version, including album art, lyrics and artist bios, plus works over EDGE, 3G and Wi-FI. It's free for the first 100k downloaders

trip024 08-16-2008 02:58 AM

Awesome!! Just got it! Works like a charm.

alden 08-16-2008 03:11 AM

Who said 16gb isn't enough room. Now I can carry my whole music library, and it take no room on my iphone.

polyclef 08-16-2008 03:46 AM

I am sad... my company ordered mine, but there is a 5-10 day back order!

I NEED INSTANT GRATIFICATION NOW!

Awesome! Thanks for the plug! :tu: We have updates coming with a bunch of new features. We actually broke into the top ten last week and have managed to stay in the top twenty. Pretty frickin' sweet!

I have managed to squander a ton of time with the "reMovem" (free) game.

Those with Windows Mobile 5 & 6 will recgonize it as "Jawbreaker". Managed a score of 962...

simplygriff 08-16-2008 04:19 PM

Cannon Challenge. Got this last night. It's a lot of fun. Try to shoot the enemies using only height and velocity. That makes more sense when you play. Just download it. :D

Oh and Tris. It's Tetris. Fo Free! It's kinda hard to control with the touch controls though. Takes some practice to make those last second decisions and stuff.

Tried it earlier this week on the road - wouldn't run for whatever reason. Have to get it again and see how it goes. I used to love wasting time with those simple artillery games.

trip024 08-19-2008 04:33 AM

Showtimes - Shows all the Theaters and Show times wherever you are.

Banner - Make your own Streaming LED style sign. I love how stupid yet fun some of these apps are :tu:

How many people here have iPod Touchs rather than iPhones? I still don't want to change providers, on Verizon, and really don't want to pay for a data plan anyways, but I just saw you can get refurb 8g touches for 199. I would still be able to use a majority of the apps, but would be tethered to wifi, which may or may not suck.

The only downside that would make me really jealous of all the iphone people is the camera. :(

werD 08-19-2008 10:50 PM

Camera isn't worth that much... Honestly if mine weren't work subsidized I might consider doing a Touch.

Works now after a reboot or two... Pretty cool.

WinAdmin is the damn bomb. Remote access to my servers is not over rated... Best $11.99 I've spent in a while! :tu::tu:

Huh, it's $13. That's about $287 less than my Gtech Pro that does basically the same thing. It's a freaking BARGAIN if you ask me.

$150 for the ProTools remote, now that's what I call pricey for an iPhone App.
