And if (like me) you haven't ridden a coaster brake since you were a kid, it's amazing how much a PITA they are for stop and go riding. You never realize how much you rely on being able to back pedal...

The hub is good for riding on mostly flat terrain, which thankfully is what I do with it. The low gear is low enough to get up short hills or slow cruising. The high gear is good for slight downhills...

Rear hub is a Sturmey Archer 2-speed kickback hub with a coaster brake. Pedal back a little and it changes gears. Pedal back a lot and it's a coaster brake.

Grips are cork.
