I don't really take offense. I usually refer to them as quadcopter. I'm not a pilot so I usually refer to myself as an operator. It's a funny industry that is forming around them none the less. I'm awaiting my FAA exemption currently to operate commercially.

There are so many great uses for them outside all the idiots that are casting a bad shadow over the industry.

I only ask because in the Air Force we have Drones and we have RPA's. The twp are very different, and you should not get them mixed up. Especially around their respective operators.

Just curious if your community feels the same way.
