Default R56 MCS muffler on my R53

I installed a muffler from a R56 MCS on my R53 a few weeks ago...

...I also used the R56 muffler hangers...

...there are pre-drilled holes in the rear "frame rails" and the hangers just slide in from the rear as they do on a R56...

...of course with the straight R56 exhaust, the battery box has to go bye-bye...

...I did have to shorten the tail pipes so the tips didn't stick out to far.

The car was crazy loud with no resonator...snap, crackle, and pop at every shift and decel...

...cold start with no resonator...

...I think the tone now is perfect. I still have some pop and burble, but it's not excessive...and no drone.
