So I read a thing about drilling out stonechips on the internet, so decided to give it a go...

Ok ok, not quite true. I got inspired by old Porsches and classic Mini's full of holes, and I like making bad desiscions:

Took some measurements, did a bit of thinking and fumbled around in Photoshop to get the right spot and dimensions. Just in front of the stock opening in the front panel that goes to the airbox:

Forgot to take pics of the proces, but did some CAD (cardboard aided design) to get it right:

Finished the edges, slapped some paint on and fitted some mesh to the inside:

Someone asked me if they were straight, but I used the line between bonnet and bumper as a reference. The hood is convex and runs in two directions, so it depends on the angle you're looking from!
