Default Megan header

Should I buy it?

Reviews? Opinions? Great price? I want to get the JCW exhaust at some point too

I've had two, and I can say I've put around 50k miles between the two. One assploded, and the others flex pipe smooshed for some reason. I would say pass and save up for a legit header.

That'd good to know. What do you mean by smooshed?

the flex part basically pancaked for a lack of better word.

I'll also say.. its not a bad header... its just not a good header, so it kinda isn't worth putting it on your car. especially since there are some serious headers on the market these days.

Megan headers flex joints always fail/explode.

I ran both headers on my r53.

Megan = power at top end

Obx= more torque nod power on the low end.

Either way you need to get a new flex joint with either header.

So which headers do you guys recommend? I'm not going to put crap in the car just because it's cheap. I've heard of Megan so much that I assumed it was good.

Raymazing, can you post a link to a "Vibrant flex sec" ?
