So let me get your opinion. My car is chili red, checkered roof, blacked out. I'm wondering if going with a flat gray joey mod would make it look too busy? Should I match the headlight rings to the joey mod? Bah maybe I'll just leave it.

Actually i think that color gray would be perfect for the red. You just have to make sure that it's close to the color they used. That's the perfect tone of gray.

My own personal opinion would be red headlight rings with gray interior. If you like the black headlight rigns alot, I would also just leave the joy mod black. I don't think it makes sense to have black rings with gray interior, and i dont like the idea of gray headlight rings.

Already been posted before....but the gray does offer a lot of contrast still on bright colored cars. And this is what it looks like with body colored rings

I'm planning on doing this soon but can't figure out what to do with the washer piece. Paint it blue or grey or what. I don't plan on leaving any chrome in it so I'm thinking grey.

Yah I noticed that they left it. I don't like it chrome. Either blue or gray. I'd lean towards gray with a gloss finish to match the glass. Blue would match the ring but look a bit odd IMO.

Anyone have pics of the washer jet matching the ring? That seems like it would be natural change for me, but I could be wrong.
