So great seeing your car. My best friend owned one the very same color. We had some great road trips in that thing. It was the most underpowered vehicle I've ever driven

I guess I should post a little update. Turns out on the drive back from New Mexico, a few years ago now, I blew up the motor. That was 2011. Since then the little project has been sitting in the garage while I save the money to build the new motor.

Fast forward to today. 1600cc motor has been rebuilt to a 1776cc. After fighting a few gremlins in tuning the dual webers he's running like a dream. I have been daily driving it for the past few weeks.

The last days have been spent replacing the 43 year old, factory shocks and cleaning the oil/gasoline/mud/dirt mixture that has been stuck to everything for that same 43 years. Luckily I've only found a few little rust spots.

Picked up these 2.0L Porsche Fuchs for it a few days ago. They will getting the full polish treatment. Factory specs are 15x5, these are 15x5.5 and will sit to the outside slightly due to a different offset. Should be prefect.

The square also got a second sticker today.
