Happened to hold a camera while I could see my car, so here's a daylight pic:

So I went to Germany for work (A45 AMG launch) and decided to drive there myself, as I'd have to take a huge detour otherwise:

But I got bored on the Autobahn, so did a little too much of this:

And ended up with this:

Yesterday I got up early and went to my MINI-specialist, Auto Spenkelink Enschede, to fit the R56-trailing-arms. 20 minutes later, and the left hand side was demounted:

But... something isn't right here:

Right, the company that sold me these gave me to right hand side arms. I should've checked it better myself, but it's kinda hard to see if one is laying the other way round.

Oh well, still did some more stuff, fitted Powerflex rear top mounts:

And a upper set of adjustable Eibach/SPC arms:

Visited the company on my way home and exchanged one of the trailing arms for a right hand side. They'll be fitted at a later point...

Also fitted another trim piece:

Don't fit powerflex bushes to the top mount's they are already under enough pressure when lowered.

From what I read the original rubbers are the culprit here? They were in ok-ish shape, some wear and tear of the years but not quite shot. These Powerflex aren't that extreme though...

Took the Ferry to Newcastle and spent most of the day driving the A68 and the wonderful A93:
