So I found a new road on the way to the local recycling centre... damp tarmac, tyre scrubbage, 4 wheel air and a dodgy rear brake made it mildy entertaining. I took some more pics...

Details on the wheel and tire setup to reveal how to go to et20 for those of us that get scared off by the lack of available pictures on the first two pages?

Thanks man, thats a huge compliment to me as that car was part of my inspiration. I wanted a proper tyre setup for track to look and sit right too. He proved it was possible

This was the second stage of inspiration....

16x8.0J ET20 with Hankook RS2 in 215/45R16. Unfortuately that tyre in that size is no longer available over here and mine are getting low. Need to consider something else so Toyo R1R and Federal 595RSR are on my current shortlist. Other than that KW Clubsport (Early Version) with 4 threads from the bottom on the fronts, and 7 threads from the bottom on the backs then approx -3.5 camber fronts, and at least -4 on the backs.

It still rubs under compression and rebound so its a noisy setup on the roads. You'd be better off with a 205/195 normal tyre stretched and tucked more.

Need to sort out a harness asap, I'm running around with an OMP wheel on normal belts. Everytime I drive around I think wtf am I doing as I don't want to total my face

Thanks for the info. I saw before that you had mentioned picking up spacers, so I wasn't sure if you had kept them on or not.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this car. I'm moving closer and closer to the time when I need to get a tire and wheel setup together. I'm not looking for a ton of tucking, or a ton of camber, but more of having everything flush. I was originally going to give 9" wheels a go, but I'm starting to think 8" or 8.5" will be the way to do it. Leaning towards 8" with some spacers to fill out the wheel wells. You've also played a part in making me change to liking the idea of a thicker sidewall. I have been debating getting Federals as well, since a shop around me deals with them often for their BMWs. Nice and cheap compared to other brands, and I've heard good things.

Car looks awesome!
