That's leslie923's MC. Her friend Alan came down from the Bay area for the weekend, and he drove her car. I'd like to think we could get her to come out and drive a future event, but it doesn't sound likely given her work/school commitments. It sure would be nice to have another MC out there on a regular basis.

That's what I'm saying!!!!! Especially now that Richard gone to the "dark side" and Jiiiiiiiiinky and T would rather drive the JCW.......it's just us Dave.....and we're technically not even in the same class anymore.......we need more COOPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm kicking around putting up $20 for the December event to pay for part of the registration for a new (never autocrossed with us perviously in a MC/MCS) MC driver. That would make their out of pocket the same for the December L.A. event as it would normally be for a San Diego event.

Another thought would be to put up $40 for a new MC owner that drivers two BMWCCA autocross events. That would basically pay for their BMWCCA membership.

So far trying to simply "encourage" MC owners hasn't yielded much, and the helmet rental offer was never siezed on either. If anyone has any other ideas for ways to bring out more MC's I'm interested in hearing them.

Thanks Joe - it was a good time....
I could have used another myself - the times on the board are interesting - some people ran their fastest time on the first runs... majority though were on the third one...I couldn't go anywhere the first couple - plus running in the later group really hurt us with the temps dropping - grip was impossible... I ran faster in the practice - figured I'd drop my time a bit with more runs.. but went slower in the final....go figure.
