and isn't the R32 an AWD VR6? This is one I've thought using as a donor for my car many times if I was going to go AWD. I met a few that were making 400 HP too.

I don't know. If it fits in a mk3, it must fit in the bigger r53/56 right?

Did you see the RWD Mk3 with the VR6 rotated 90 degrees at Wuste? OMG.

Someone should buy my clubman off the auction block, cut off the damaged front end, build out a tube frame engine bay, and toss in a gnarly engine. Rest of the car was 100% untouched and it's still technically bagged.

The brake ducts aren't lookin' so hot either.

MINI's design team: "we need to paint random things red so people think it's worth extra!"

The red stuff should have Union Jacks all over it, and they'd sell them all in a heartbeat to current MINI-owners.

Disappointed that MINI did not put together an 'over the top' aero kit for the 56 GP like they did with the 53. To me, the original GP really was what the Porsche GT3 is for the 911 line. This latest iteration sounds promising but with just painted trim pieces and a new color (which looks almost identical to the original), I don't see it being what the original was.
