Not yet, still looks the same other than some genuine GP dial faces.

Got a few bits piling up in the garage to paint/fit

Also getting ready to do an underside refresh - sub frames dropped and powder coated and a general tidy up and it should be good for another 13 years. The salt from the winters has taken its toll on the underside

You should consider getting the subframes hot dipped galvanized instead of powder coated.... It will stand up to salt corrosion soooo much better...

Quick update, ordered some AST 5200 coilovers and matching drop links, been collecting parts of the last year or so.

Last week I started the rebuild by removing the gearbox to fit a quaife diff, lightweight flywheel and a new clutch, also replacing ball joints and wheel bearings together with a general tidy up of the wheel wells before the new sub frames go on.

Still on with the refresh, found some surface rust so stripped it back and treated it. Just about to order tyres and get wheels refurbished so hopefully be back on the road in August - only taken 18 months to get to this point.

Other projects took over my time, so remodelled the rear garden which involved moving 60t of soil and rubble by hand...

Fitted the following:

Rear coilovers and their external reservoirs and mounting brackets
Vibratech main engine mount
Since my cars a pre fl I swapped the bushes on the upper engine mount with black series full bush replacement
Ordered x4 215/45/17 Michelin Cup 2 tyres
My wife bought me knd’s rear suspension spherical mounts

Following on from my daily BMW 330d getting totalled and its replacement been built this week and the hire car going back tomorrow, I spent last weekend getting the mini back together and today I had its first annual inspection in 2 years and passed! so took it out for a drive

It’s got TD1.2’s on and I’ve got some bbs rc041 that need redrilling to 4x100
