Default Show me your shifter!

Ya heard me. Show me your shifter. And don't be shy to say what short shiftr kit you've got (if you have one)

I'm looking for a new shift knob since I dropped the Alta SSK all the way down with the alta Shift knob and now I want something that is not a ball-type knob.

Unless someone knows of a smaller ball-type shifter than the alta

so... Let's see em!

Looking for something like this

Btw the Alta I have looks like this

There's a thread kinda for this but more for short shifters...

Since you just want pics though... I'll bite.

I really dig the UUC knob...

I also just added my 8th knob, a 2008 MITM edition.

wow... that's quite the collection haha. I've actually never had to change any of the knobs in any of my cars until I got the mini. Hated the stock knob so I switched to a Razo (yeah I said Razo) Drifter style since those were the type I was used to. But got the alta and liked it. But know I want something umm.. thinner I guess. I would like to keep the ball shape since it's more confortable but some of the ones that I've seen are not much smaller than the stock MC/MCS knob.

I get of work soon so i'll probably stop by Autobacs(Bux$$) and see if I like any of them. Hard to make a decision when you can hold them in person

Not the best photo of the entire shifter but I have the adjustable Alta set on the lowest setting (shortest throw) with a Whalen knob. I'll try to get a better photo soon.

There was a custom run group buy a year or so ago.

Thanks, though the credit mostly goes to Whalen, not me. And yes, like griff said, it was a custom group buy. Mine might standout a bit more because I colored in the engraving (not something offered with the purchase).

I tried to go back to the OEM knob......took it off after 30 minutes.....The JCW knob is by far the best IMO!

Not sure what the group buy price is, but you can order them from Doug Whalen for like $150 per unit. Expensive, but he does amazing work.

I also like the carbon ones pictured from Cpt. Claw and R50Paul . those are both great options.
