For anyone curious....looks like they come in chrome too for a more stock look.

I just wish they didnt have the halo

Why does it say in the auction for "base coopers only"? was there a difference in fitment?

no difference.....probably just ignorance

You could definitely just not wire up the halo....but you could still see it from the outside in the daylight Though it looks a bit less obvious on the chrome ones

HID's in halogen projectors are still a no-no right?

that's gonna be one of the big deciding factors for me......because for the same price you could get the OEM facelift halogens which are my favorite design. So smooth and simple

I did it on my Subaru and had no issues. As long as the projector has a proper cut-off, it shouldn't be an issue.

I will have to research it more....if you could get a new set of these and a set of ballasts+bulbs for around 600....this might be the cheapest/easiest way to upgrade to xenon.

I got my kit from Xenon Factory...pricey at $400 but used proper modified bulbs and was plug and play (you had to disable the DRL's though...not sure if that's an issue with MINI)

My thoughts exactly. I'd get a set just for the HID projectors alone.

Anyone pick up a set yet?
