Looking to switch up my wheels... looking at the new 2 piece fifteen52 tarmacs. Kind of like the 3 piece but a lot cheaper!

Thoughts?

Ohhhh, very cool. The finish is tricky to work out but the design looks sweet

I would go dark like the first picture. It matches your roof way better. The white wheel thing has always thrown me off on your car.

I agree, I love the design of a simple 5-spoke wheel, nothing beats it in my opinion!

Rally, it's kind of a love-hate thing for a lot of people. Some people that come up to me can't stop commenting on how much they love the white wheels on the car and others can't stand them. I do agree that the darker colored ones look much better in the comparison though.

They're revising their kit. They were having some problems with the rear strut they supplied. It should be back up shortly.

Yeah I talked to Rali from bagriders and he said that they are designing a Mini kit that bolts right up right now. It will be more expensive but it is going to have camber plates, you wont have to grind the knuckles out to fit the bottom of the strut anymore, and they are going to have fully threaded bodies so that you can spin the bag down to go lower if you want. I'm probably going to sell my wheels just so I can have a kit as soon as they release it.

More expensive? Talk about A LOT more expensive. Like $2000 per just the front struts.

Rali told me it would be about $50 less than the price of all four Airrex struts for all four corners which means that would be about $2000.... So it would probably be a good $3000 for a kit....

When I contacted airrex they said it'd be 2700 for JUST the struts. Crazy. So if it's just $50 less per strut it'll still be $2500. If you throw management and everything in there it'll easily be $3000+. I mean don't get me wrong, I love my air ride, but I'd never spend $3200 (with tank, shipping, etc) on a basic air set up. The only reason why I got this one was because it was $400 off the list price at about $2200 for a full kit with V2 management because of their monthly deal or whatever.

Are they not offering the previously offered kit at all anymore? Just this custom set?

Huh. Rali told me just the four for the Airrex was $2100... But that may be if you ordered it through bagriders or something. Yeah I really dont want to spend $3000 on a set up... I'll probably wait until they have a deal on it. That or get my buddy to order the set for me because he gets about a 15% discount as a "mechanics discount". We'll see however much it comes out to be though... Hopefully not too ridiculous...

Well Bagriders sells their struts for a lot cheaper. Bagriders has a kit up for minis right now with the airrex and its $3400 with management. I just don't think the airrex goes very low.... I am trying to wait it out until Bagriders comes out with their custom set up for the Mini.
