Just the rings green or the whole assembly? The white wheels/gas cap/door handles sounds like a winning combination

Rings green, chrome trim on the bottom of windows black, and gas cap, wheels and handles white.

Not too sure about the handles and gas cap though... I think white would be a little tacky. Maybe keeping them chrome. Gah decisions!!

Just got a quote yesterday on how much it would be to paint the trim on my aero grill and my chrome trim, they said it would only cost $150 I think I'm going to do it.

Remember that whatever chrome remains, will stand out MORE after going monochrome or blackout on some parts. I saw an all black MINI (in photos) one time where the only external chrome was the side marker trim. It really looked sharp. In your case, I wouldn't hesitate to go white on the gas cap (Regular Coopers are that way), but consider leaving the door handles chrome. That would be sharp.
