my guess is a manhole cover that was maybe one inch higher than the road.

It look like this from the top but when you look at it from the side its domed so it sticks up. I'd say its like 10 inches wide.

So last night I'm bar hopin for my sisters bday in down town Houston. At about 12:45 I push the clutch down, and it won't go in to third, so I try 2,4,5 nothing. I try to pump the clutch, but it no longer comes back. Fffffffuuuuuuuccccckkkkkkk. Coast on to a low traffic side street, jack up the front pull the cover thing off the bottom to inspect the slave. And it looks clean, huuuummmm. My sis and aunt show up and I have them pump the clutch while I watch the slave, it wiggles abit then starts dripping from under the boot part. I squeeze the boot and fluid poors out.

About 10k miles ago I replace the clutch and slave because the original slave quit for no reason when I put it all back together. What could cause a new slave to do this!!??

Dealer is closed today and they probably don't stock it.

Hummmm should I get a new one from the dealer or way?

Not sure how it works in the States but I went with a Valeo clutch and can't complain. 1/3 of the price of the OEM item.

Also over here the OEM cost the same as Clutchmasters FX400 so might be worth going aftermarket if you are planning more power?

Clutch is fine. I went oem when I replaced it, problem is the slave cylinder, thus will be my third one, WHY?

chevy has a slave cylinder that fits our car, its cheaper and stronger, i just dont remember which one it is.

Other than that, just have to stick with the oem one,

No idea why it would fail on you

Best bet would be to remove the MINI unit and take it with you to O'Reilly for dimensional checks. Did you read the comments on NAM about the slight changes needed? Line modification and drilling out some mounting holes? Also, you need to check the plunger rod length I believe.
