It's an ok show but you'll be made to feel welcome by your Internet friends You might want to miss out on the infamous drinking that occurs the night before though.

They pop off until you superglue them on... then they self trim...

Unless you lose them before you get the chance to glue...

Still haven't trimmed the new arches yet. I'm so lazy. In other news I lowered the back right to match the lowering I gave the back left at the weekend. Will see in the morning if I didn't go too far.

It's the Players show this Sunday. The show is just down the road from me which makes a welcome change. The weather is so sketchy at the moment I don't know when I'll be cleaning the car but I'm off to my mates to get some final trimming done around the C pillars.

I'll be happy when this final show is over as I'm bored of cleaning and polishing the wheels and car.

It was the Players show yesterday. Saturday I spent 6 hours cleaning wheels. Most time was spent fretting over minor imperfections on the nearside front lip that only I could see in certain light from certain angles

Then just before bed I decided to trim my fresh rear arches so they would fit for driving

Argh my back was screwed. Getting old. Anyway the show was good with a great standard. I was fortunate enough to get into the hanger this year which really paid off when the typical British rain showed up.

I enjoyed the Speedhunters area with the gallery. On reflection I only recall seeing one car that could be classed as VIP style. It was a mk2 Lexus GS300 complete with curtains, a drinks bar and wide wheels with a tonne of camber and stretch.

Did the second pic work? I'd like to share some more.

On a final note I entered a raffle for a fiver and won a free wrap! On Friday I was talking to a friend about how I wanted to get a wrap next year and couldn't believe it when they called my name. Not 100% on colour yet. The wrap guy gave me a book of 50 samples and I don't think I like any of them. I'll probably miss the classy mark and end up driving a classless wagon of trash.

Absolutely love your R53. If your attention to detail and taste in mods thus far serve as an indicator, I'm sure you'll make even a trashy colour look classy.

Lucky! If I ever won a wrap, I'd probably do matte navy blue

I missed the replies. Thanks! I'd love a really light mint green colour. Something like the Rotiform Porsche? Couldn't tear myself away from it at Players Classic. The new colour will have to work with different wheels next year too but I haven't decided on what they'll be yet. Wonder if this next mod is still classy? Lol.

The leather pad on top of the alcantara passenger mat is removable. I thought of that idea while brushing my teeth. These mats came along just in time for winter
Glad the old ones are gone though. At ten years old they were starting to look their age and the drivers had a hole in it.

In other news my outer (is there an inner and outer?) cv boots were changed mid week as they were split. The angle at which they run at cause the boots to pull out and up due to the lows. The new ones were mounted slightly out to compensate for this.

How do M|U Mini's cope? There are Mini's on here that put my lows to shame.
