Would I be cool to roll back without an alignment?
If you guys would wanna help me install them in OC that'd be awesome, especially if they're doing show prices.

It's worth emailing them and seeing how good the show prices are. If they're super good, it's worth it IMO. I'd be down to lend a hand. I'm sure with all of us helping we could get them installed real quick

You'd be fine without an alignment. I've still never aligned mine after the air install

Thanks for all the offers to help! I've never installed a set myself, so best I can do is offer to be the fetch monkey/guy who does whatever he's told. It'd be a great learning experience.
I'll shoot them an email tomorrow and see if they get back to me with a quote.

Very straight forward install. The people that are going have had theirs in and out at least 2-3 times each.

More like 23 for me

The hardest part is getting the stocks OUT since they're so long. The VMAXX's are shortened so much that getting them in is pretty easy.

Cool. So can I count y'all in? I'm willing to do all the work as long as there's someone making sure I don't do something retarded in the process.

I can't speak for everyone, but I'd be willing to lend a hand if we can find time to do it. I'm not sure if things may be too hectic/busy to fit in a full install though.

Any word on the pricing? Maybe you could talk them into giving you show pricing but shipping them to you early so you could install them before coming down

The only concern I would have with doing an install at the show is if something breaks during the install and we can't source the part.

Or forget a simple tool... Drew, Nulli and I know all about that.

See. That'd be my issue. Forgetting a tool or something dumb like that. I'd try and install myself before the show, I'm just not confident having never done an install before. Ok, end threadjack haha

get a good online diy and set aside a few days to get it done where you won't need your car. when nick did his first install he needed a couple of tools that he didn't have so it took a little bit longer, but it also was good because he didn't stress out about having to have it done THAT day.

i had mine done by a vw friend who does installs for anyone locally, mini not that much different than a vw, took 2 hours and a couple good smacks with a rubber hammer... i watched, so i am no help at all.

Viley I'll see if I can find the guides I found online when we did my install. Granted we didn't really use them cause Drew knew what he was doing (mostly ) but I should still have the files on my thumbdrive I can e-mail you.

Edit: I got it, PM me your e-mail address.
