Default MLJ's FiftySix

I picked up a nice 56 S a couple of weeks ago with the spec as follows, lots of mods in the pipeline and few bits done already.

MINI Cooper S 1.6
Pepper White Non-Metallic
Lea Lounge Redwood Red
Multifunction for S/Wheel
Heated Mirrors/Washer Jets
Chrome Line interior
Visibility Pack
Roof In Body Colour
Colour Line Dark Grey
Interior Trim Piano Black
Interior World Redwood Red
Darkened Rear Glass
MINI Cooper S 1.6
Auto-Dim Interior Mirror
Front Centre Arm Rest
Rain Sensor & Lights On
Automatic Air Conditioning
HiFi Speaker System
Full Bluetooth with USB.
Navigation System
Voice Control System
CHILI Pack

First of all I detailed the car to bring the paintwork back to a good condition.

Then threw on some OZ ultraleggeras

However I wasnt a massive fan of them so bought a set of Rays Volk GT 7's

They only got as far as test fitting though before I decided I didnt like them

So I through on some webspokes as decent tempory wheels.

I've now ordered a set of rota blitzs, (CH reps) Not a massive fan of running reps but CH's aren't done in mini fitment. They should be here next week. As soon as I find some RC's I'll get them bought but the blitzs will do for a while.

I then set about getting the little things sorted so replaced all the bulbs for chrome ones and side lights for whiter ones to match the xenon's.

And some decent wipers

I have a couple of issues with it not boosting properly but as soon as they're sorted it'll be getting dropped on some decent coils and I'll fit my evolve downpipe I've bought.

Nice start. Personally I prefer the OZ ultraleggeras. A bit more low would definitely help with the look.

Cheers guys. Dont worry it will be getting lowered very soon, this much wheel gap isn't good for anyone

Still unsure whether to get some bargin basement meisters r's like last time or go for some clubsports/evo3r's this time.

Cheers guys, appreciate the top comments.

I know roughly where I'm going with the performance and handling of this one but still unsure about the looks. It just works as it is for me.

Currently thinking either shave a few bits and leave it or aero kit and colour code a few bits. Thoughts?

I would say aero as you are obviously going for the race look with your choices in wheels. Latest wheels look great btw.
