Default Too good to be true (alignment)

One of the tire/wheel/suspension places near me allows you to buy a 'subscription' to their alignment facilities. For 100 dollars or somewhere around there, you can get free alignments for 3 years.

I asked if you could come in and just have things altered whenever you wanted (despite not NEEDING the changes) and he said "sure". I explained that it would be camber and toe etc and i wanted to come in after testing it out at autocrosses and he said that it would still count as my alingment subscription.

That sounds too good to be true? It's way better than having to pay separately every time you want an alignment. Unfortunately they don't corner balance, that would rock

Damn, that's an awesome deal. Make sure they understand that you'll be wanting four-wheel "thrust" alignments, not just two-wheel alignments. I wish I could find a deal like that! I'd be there weekly!

I'm sure they will probably still make money off of that program, but definitely not off of you. Most people only get an alignment when their steering wheel goes crooked from hitting a pothole, curb, etc.

I'm sure they will make tons off of it...my mom got the 3 year plan and she will probably go once at most

It doesnt look like they have locations in CA, but for other non-cali members check out your local NTB for this deal

Yeah, the TiresPlus around here does a 3-year contract (you can "substitute" or "change" the vehicle in the contract only once, though) for $160.

I did it this year in February, and have gotten another alignment for free, so already paid off as it's 80 bucks each. And still have over 2 years to go! I might just take my dad's Cooper there and claim "it's the same car - MINI Cooper, still!" lol. See what they say.

Take it easy,
Leo.
