its not a 600w thats for sure, but it fills the small compartment well!

under the drivers seat you also get the thump in your rump which gives the illusion of more bass!

So I have made a lil photoshop mock up with two wheel choices. This will be the approximate drop on the Megans with the 16x7 +38mm offset wheels.

The choices are Sparco Asseto Gara or the OZ Superturismo GT. Both wheels are made by OZ and both weigh about 18-19 lbs per wheel. The look we are going for is an anodized style magenta custom paint. Which of the two styles would you pick? We have made our decision but I like your opinions too!

As for the wheels, probably going with the more cost effective and aggressive 16x7 38mm offset Sparco Assetto Gara wheels in Fuschia.

This past weeked I got the Megans and the TRD rear sway installed.

I'm part of the guinea pig squad it seems, as there seems to be only one other installed set of these in the country.

The current stated problem is the passenger tie rod doesn't allow for enough toe adjustment, and is at neg 5 degrees currently, while all the other driver and passenger alignments are "in spec"

So basically I think I cant find the right alignment guy in So Cal near Ventura. There is a comedy of errors going on here with the Megan Coilover install. Evidently the alignment must be done with fairly new software in order to be compatible with the yaw and steering sensors the IQ has already. This coupled with the knowledge of how to align a macpherson strut setup with camber plates and simple tie rod adjustments. Seems simple right? Seems pretty standard right? What am I missing? Of course I could raise it back up to get the needed adjustment, as toe and camber work together. But 5 degrees is a lot!

There are still 5/8" threads left on the coilovers, so we aren't near the max drop. Megan claims to have tested the units as 'bolt on' and go with no other aftermarket parts needed.

One clue I have, is some of the guys with springs, which is less of a drop, have seen the toe 'out of adjustment'. So even lower means....



I should also mention the support at Megan is very good and they were very patient with me explaining my issue. I use them on my MINI as well and have had good results thus far. I'll keep y'all updated!
