OMG i am going to miss that car. Seeing that car at DTM was the reason i bought my MCS. But you have good taste, i have faith that your MCS will be just that much better...

nah didnt bake it. I heard that baking it might cause discoloration and i didnt want to chance that.

It wasn't super hard...but certainly wasnt easy. Came away with a few scratched up fingers. Just lots of scraping to get the glue out and then prying to get everything apart.

So i got the fully apart (4 pieces) and tried one of my many ideas on this test light just to see how my ideas would pan out.

If i choose this style, it won't be so dark. I wanted a dark red, but apparently 3 coats of this tint stuff is pretty much BLACK :p . On the final project, they would probably be 2 coats tops.

I do like how these look....just not sure if they are too aggresive for my normal styling.

Anyways, i took some pics to show that they lost little (if any) functionality even with this dark tint

A pic to show them on the car....what do you think? No lights on-

The other two pics are to show the functionality.

Whoa, that looks really cool. I like the way it preserves the dual surface reflections, unlike using film on the outside. A subtle, unique touch.

Best of all, how are they gonna pop you for tinting 'em if there's no tint film on them?
