I'm stumped then. You'll have to investigate to figure out why your clearance is different than others. Or see if it actually blew because of some other issue.

Were you rolling around at a super low pressure?

This is what a 5813 bag looks like when it's meant for struts:

How does that even work to connect to the strut? It looks like there are 2 bolts on the top and bottom of the bag on my current set up.

I just meant in terms of having the holes through them. I believe the mounting method is different now.

Either way, there's no way the 5813s you posted will work.

So odd... Just checked the other bag to see if I needed to order 2, and there's NO damage to it whatsoever. And I was rolling at the same height/psi. What could be wrong?

Any number of things. Have you looked at the bag that blew? Where is the damage on it?

Here are the only pictures I got of the car right when I got it aired out for the first time.

Definitely tire clearance issues. I would say check the knuckle and see if it slid too far down. Sometimes running at too low of a pressure will cause rubbing there too because that bag will be lower and closer to the tire.

The clearance must be really bad if you rubbed through that quickly.

That blows.... No pun intended haha

Would there be anyway to patch up the bag?

lawl

That's what I'm really wondering..... I tried about 20 layers of duct tape with almost a roll of electrical tape trying to get it home and that got me no where.

Lol, there's no way you're patching that up. Especially with tape.

Bingo, Rally. Looks like that knuckle slid down. I guess that's what did it.

Now I have to ask... how in the world do I get that strut to reliably not slide through the knuckle? I was using a breaker bar to tighten that bolt around the knuckle and it still fell through after half a mile.

Weld on a ring or tab like the stock ones perhaps? Might have ground that side down too much.

That's exactly what I was thinking... Cut the one of the stock and weld it on to the new strut.

Just be careful welding to the struts with the fluids in there and everything.
