Thanks, I'm really just looking for something that is low-dusting, vs. something that offers better stopping power over stock!

Sorry dude, I meant I heard good things about yellows and low dust as well as performance
![]() As a tip, I would avoid anything from Mintex, Performance Friction (what I had/have now) and Carbotech if you want low dust man. |

I asked this same question a couple of years back, and ended up going with Hawk HPS. During some of my more spirited drives, I have braked DEEPLY into turns (and felt the ABS kick in) and so far they've done a great job. No fade, and a lot less dust than stock.
But these are the only non-OEM pads I've tried, so there could be something better and I just don't know it. |

Huh, I must be the only one that likes the EBC Red Stuff. Better than stock for both stopping and dust. I don't use them on the track but seem to be great for my DD.

Except for occasional spirited driving this car would not be seeing a lot of aggressive driving. Thanks so far guys!

I have the Hawk Ceramics in mine and I have no issues with them. My car stops when I want it to and the brake dust is very minimal. I have also slipped into the 'ABS' territory a few times in some twisties so I can safely say that yes these brakes still allow the ABS to kick in when need be.
I have slotted front rotors so Im not sure how the Hawks go on the stock rotors... I cant imagine it to be much different. |
