Well another factor that i was told later that afternoon is that the service dept just built that car up to be a JCW the week prior, so it could also be a bad build... but i dont know exactly

Doubtful. The current R56 JCW kit install doesn't involve the clutch.

They had a BMW salesman that worked at our dealer before I started that put an E46 M3 into a tree on a test drive. When I say into a tree, I mean hanging up in the branches.

Oh yea, he had a customer with him. She wasn't even interested in the M3 either. Apparently, dude fled the country and they paid the customer some cash.

Next to the MINI dealer here is a Porsche dealer who gets some Ferraris from time to time. Across the street is the Benz dealer as well. Best story was from my Service Mgr at MB who saw a guy take a Ferrari Modena out of the dealer driveway, accelerated about 100 yds to the major cross street... except the moron couldn't control it and t-boned the thing into a large panel truck.
Needless to say, short test drive
