I have some questions regarding the aero kit:

1) I've heard that the pieces that come with it are already smooth so it takes less prep to have them painted. Is this true?

2) I'm not a big fan of the aero grill so if you get the kit, do you have to get the aero grill as well?

3) What would be the cost for all the parts in a complete kit for an S (I know there would be shipping, just interested in the parts price right now)?

Thanks for your help.

I'm interested in doing some dechroming. What would some Astro Black mirror covers and an Astro Black painted trunk lid grip (51130148454) cost me?

Chip, I know the stock upper grille will work fine with the aero kit. You'll have to do some customizing for the smaller lower grille to fit since the bumper on the kit is deeper than stock. You'll have to fill it somehow to make it sit flush.

51-16-7-030-715 $24.40
51-16-7-030-716 $24.40
51-13-0-148-454 is not available. ETK lies. Even with a colour coded order it comes back NLA.
51-13-7-075-582 $50.20 is what you need. That's the primed unit. I can't imagine it costing more than $40 to get it painted.

The Aero Kit comes pre-primed. It requires very little prep work from what I understand.

A non aero grill on an Aero Kit is the sex. I've seen it on a PW Cooper S before.

$950 shipped. That's meeting you essentially halfway on shipping and at less than 20% off. At 20% it's like $1000.

Also, for something like this (big stuff) the boss man requires me to get a copy of the DL. Just a quick fax over and we put it in a vault thing under lock and key. Just to make sure you are really who you say you are.

That's awesome, Motoring Speed.

Once I get my current credit card bill paid off I'll be ordering an S aero kit

How long are you going to run the special? Or is this going to be a constant deal? Which would be sick.
