Boomer's been home for a few days now. He does three things well: sh*t, chase the cats and keep us up at night. Here are some new pics:

If I were to get a dog, it'd be an American Pit Bull Terrier. APBT and apartments don't mix.

Yo iDiaz,

I had that same kind of thought for years. Just replace the Pit with a Great Dane. But, then one day I heard a very sad story about a chow chow that needed a home ASAP. So, I offered up my apartment as a foster home to the puppy in need. That was 4 years ago, and that doggy has been one of the greatest additions to my life. Sometimes just having a dog is the key, not a specific breed. FWIW...

And hey Jinky, sorry I won't be @ breakfast on sunday, I wanted to meet Boomer. Maybe once he gets a little older we can all meet up @ the Laurel Canyon dog park. Great place...

Yeah, I guess you're right. I just really have my heart set on a rowdy little pit. Also, I donno if you've been to a pound lately, but pit bulls are probably one of the most common breeds there. People get a pit bull expecting a chilled out guard dog, and get a rowdy clown that they can't handle.

Heck, there's even a website dedicated to rescuing pit bulls: http://www.pbrc.net

dude pit bulls and apartments do not mix trust me! esp pit puppies, they mellow out a lot as they get older but still love nothing more than to chew **** up. And if they dont get lot's and lot's of exercise they will become destructo puppies!
