Yah. I've got like three buddies here in AZ that run R32's with various degrees of mods from stock performance to SC kit. All crazy fast in a straight line and can hang through the lighter curvy stuff. But get them into the tight twisties and I can easily get away.

You know the new Mk5 .:R's are only months away right? I wouldn't jump on a Mk4 right now if you paid me.

yeah the guys I ran into has SC kits.. I have seen them before... they are pretty quick cars and kewl guys... best was they were quite suprized to get pulley so hard by a mini... heh heh... but like I said they were kewl and that's what made it fun...

Yea... well performance is less in an r32... but... the big seller to me right now is that AWD... idk we shall see if they total my mini or just repair it.

Well I just got a call from my insurance... as of now... it looks like a total... he said the tranny was toast and possibly more... and that was just a quick glance... he needs to get it up on a lift to do his final evaluation...

How much does an R32 go for? Aren't they like $30K+?

since they're all used, (if he's talking about getting a MKIV), they're anywhere from $25,000-$30,000 depending on condition and mileage

Since they were limited production, the resell value of them has been pretty good.

Yeah, if you're gonna get an older Audi TT, you might as well just get another MINI. Faster, more roomy, and much nicer looking, in my opinion.
