I can't decide if I want the Wii version or stick with the Cube one and go backwards compatible on the Wii. Wind Waker had such a perfect control scheme...

Yeah, they're saying you will be able to use the DS as a touch screen controller for Wii.

I wanna play DS games on the big screen ala the Game Boy player like the cube had. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was awesome on the big screen! but Animal Crossing:WW would be even cooler! (so I don't have to start over with the cube version)

So as far as I can tell, Wii will not be HD capable, which is one "disadvantage" when it's put up against xbox 360 or PS3. I still think it's more innovative, but what do you guys think?

I have to say I never would have even thought about the Wii.... but the controls... (if they are like the video) will make it AMAZING and more interactive... almost virtual realitve style!

it'll be great.

I'm one of those who actually loved the GBA connectivity with te cube, to the point of buying 4GBA SPs with the connecting cables just to multi play FFcrystal chronicles. and my cousins loved pokemon.

I also loved th concept back in the day of the godzilla game for the dreamcast. (with the VMU's which had monsters as digipets)

I like the idea of training a char offline- portably- then bringing it to a main sys and challenging other people with your char..

but then I'm also from a family who raises fighting cocks in the PI. go fig.
