Default 2009 Pads on 2006 Brakes?

I ahve a set of pads for my 2009, will they fit on a 2006? I know a lot of the R56 stuff is on the 2006 R53.

i don't remember what month but some of the 06 r53's came with JCW size brake setups with no labelling (same as the r56) maybe one of the tech's or MA's can chime in?
it was the very tail end of the r53 production.
