they are race calipers so no dust seals, so not ideally suited to road use , these were off the early R53 challenge cars as far as I remember

Hence why I encouraged Puma to do the exploring himself. There's nothing cool about finding a pair if someone else is spoon feeding you all the info. A large part of it is the journey/search/bartering.
I was just thinking more performance than logo I guess...

Haha... My car is so far from performance... But I see where you're coming from. I'm mostly excited about the caliper and the JCM logo, so I guess we're looking at different sides of the spectrum. Granted, I want my car to stop on a dime so I can dodge potholes and unforeseen road debris...

Well then as you said, I'm sure there are plenty of other similar options out there sans logo.

I wonder if you contacted AP if they could custom make you calipers with that logo engraved in them? Still not as cool, but still pretty cool.

Or you could purchase the brakes and have a machine shop engrave them. I had a customer recently who had me design a logo for him and then he had them engraved on a bunch of BBK's at his local machine shop.

Yuppers - not uncommon to go this route.

ORLY? That might be the better route as I'm having a really hard time finding anything on challenge teams haha... Plus, I could get a custom logo, which would be nice...

Yup, here's the design I did for him engraved on his brakes.

Personally, I get more excited over an AP Racing brake kit than a JCC-engraved AP Racing brake kit. AP Racing is friggin' awesome. Damned near every GT1/GT2-class race car I've ever seen in a paddock is rockin' AP Racing calipers.

Well yah, for other makes they have some awesome stuff I just meant the MINI caliper options. The base BBK for the MINI isn't anything super special like that one.
