I'm dropping my headliner off to Loz this Sunday and I'll borrow his tools. Turning my attention to the interior is partly your fault Pobsey. These Recaro's are going to get quilted and leathered at some point. Also I intend to have a go at cutting the trim to fit around the CAE shifter this weekend like Davy:

I've been driving my mum's mx5 (sorry Miata) for a week now. I do miss the Mini though.

Haha sorry about that, but that little bit of luxury is well worth it, makes it a nicer place to sit whilst playing in the hills.

The CAE shifter is so nice, I tried to pick fault with it to prove to myself its not needed, but it is! Damn you NTFB!

Hallo MU. Facelift headlamps are in. They look like the insides could do with a polish. (Another thing to add to the list.)

New wheels are coming. I've never been completely happy with running a dark set of rims since I bought these so this has always been on the cards. I don't mind a bit of poke but I may have got my measurements a bit wrong We'll see once I can afford tyres and get it aligned properly.

Car looks great. I think a lighter wheel is exactly what it needs too.

I should really make a start on fitting the centre console I'd like to paint it first but I can't decide what colour to do the dash and down tubes. I was going to stickerbomb the dash but I've gone off that idea now. I'm stuck between getting a carbon fibre dash and painting the rings blue or painting the dash blue with carbon fibre rings. I think I'm leaning to the cf dash idea.

I love the shifter. It's right by the steering wheel and the throw is shorter between gears. It looks awesome too! I had a handful of runs up the quarter mile against my mates S. There was nothing in it despite him having a few mods I don't like 380cc injectors, janspeed manifold, remap and jcw head.
Whether or not my shifter and facelift box had anything to do with it I can't say. Buy a CAE. You won't regret it.

A few comments about cheap wheels but I'm ok with that. Also technically the Mini was on Facebook for a week and I wasn't as I had closed my account

I'm not sure because I think the colour will pop too much. Need an evening in photoshop I think.

Have the center console laminated with CF after making it fit!

There are an awful lot of curves and contours though. I don't fancy my chances I'm pretty certain I'll be painting the seat backs electric blue. A running theme of cf/alcantara with blue accents throughout is today's favourite. Tomorrow could be different.

I could chuck it all in and just go for a really clean neutral look like Pobsey.
