Mine is currently just a Q-logic box as i work out the details of my fiberglass enclosure that I'm building up. Still trying to decide on whether to have 2 subs or just stick with one.

I will snap pics in the near future to atleast show my current ghetto setup.

2 10" Diamond Audio Shallow D3 woofers. When the rear seats fold down, it creates a flat surface for hauling luggage and whatnot.

Gearslave, what size are those subs? 12 or 15?

My 10 hits very nicely, but i keep wondering if another 10 or getting a single 12 would make my ears happier.

Question. I am thinking about going the head, amp, sub route and never have put a system in a little car before. Won't all that extra weight and placement of the subs with enclosure at the very back produce negative handling and adversley affect the balance of the vehicle? I have always put systems in SUV's, so handling didn't matter much. Thanks.

to be perfectly honest i havent noticed a difference in handling at all BUT, i am not auto crossing the mini. i drive like a lunatic but im not racing for times or anything.
my set up is remarkably light for the amount of gear involved.
if you can get your hands on a set of jl w3's or any other subs that dont require a lot of air space to kick right you can save alot of weight and space that way.

they are 12" JL w3s. they sound lovely and hit like bus but, i got a really good deal on them so thats why i went with 12s. otherwise i would have gone with a smaller sub set up probably.

That looks good Griff. I like how you have trunk space. Where are your amps. On mine that space is filled with the two amps and I used a OEM boot mat to cover them. The amps have fans built in so they don't overheat. The sub is just in a generic 10" box. Kelli needs trunk space too.

Gearslave, that setup is awesome

My single amp is under the passenger seat.

Autotek Mean Machine 75.2

I'm running the stock speakers otherwise and they're powered by the Head Unit itself.
