Default Sam's Panels closer :)

Here is the latest on our joint venture with Sam with regards to the vented fender panels. We are still in the work in progress stage but much closer. At this point the panels fit real well but do require some expertese in installation. We will continue to try to refine the product so it could be a home install but at this point my recomendation would be a body shop. Here are a few shots just to keep you all up to date. Again thanks to Sam for the concept and design.

I thought they were open to vent some of the hot air. I know rocks will be an issue but with some of that clear bra vinyl type stuff on there it shouldn't be to much of an issue.

The mesh is pretty fine too so that'll screen out a bunch of crap

you will probably notice more gains in the downforce area than the heat/engine temp area

It actually could contribute aerodynamically if you cut out that section on the fender liner, by reducing air pressure below the front wheels. This would help prevent understeer at higher speeds, which is a bit backwards. Generally speaking, you want the car to balance a bit towards understeer as speed increases, in order to stabilize the car. Aero balance is just as important, if not moreso, than just general downforce generated.

Who knows if it actually does anything even with the fender well cut out, though. I'd assume cosmetic only... and any other features are the cherry on top.
