does anyone want to do the joey mod for me? :p also.. out of curiosity... why cant you just leave the headlights on the car and paint the outside? I dont have experience with that paint but what does cooking it do? I dont like the idea of sticking my lights in the oven

Here is what a joey mod is....you paint the inside casing. It's not the reflector or anything. In order to get to this piece, you have to take the clear lense off which needs an oven to remove.

You can't paint that piece from the outside. The only part you could paint from the outside is the clear plastic lense. This would block 90% of you headlights from ever working....and wouldnt really look very good.

By painting the inside....you get this cool look of having it tinted INSIDE the lense. You could tint the lense with lamin-x, but it just gives a different look.

You should try it, the regular headlights are pretty easy to do. you can even leave them outside on a hot day to open them up
