Good man! If you like Irish whiskey, here's one that is dangerously good:

http://www.whiskymag.com/whisky/bran...hisky2182.html

It's a little on the expensive side ($50/bottle), but it's single pot (not a blend) and aged for 12 years. And when I say it's dangerously good, I know this first hand. I've made the mistake of sipping way too much of it, to the point of uttering the classic "I'm never drinking again!" line the next morning.

Bookers. Best 120+ bourbon. And I don't drink brown liquors. Found this while waiting for my plane in Louisville, KY. I had a 4 hour wait, it was 10 a.m. and the only person working was the manager of the bar. So me, T and another couple started talking, one thing led to another and we ended up polishing off the entire bottle between the five of us. Best part was the manager guy didn't charge us for any of it. Or the chasers that went with the shots. I love southern hospitality.

Huh... I'm not really into bourbon, but I'll give it a shot if I run across it.

Trust me, you will like it. I really don't drink brown liquors. A rule I have since 1982. See my earlier post about the US Festival. But this stuff goes down like mother's milk.

Okay, so I went down to BevMo yesterday, and it looks like the price on Redbreast has dropped to $36.99.

Also, Jameson 12-years-old was down to $33.99, so I couldn't resist...

Unfortunately, the Jameson 18-years-old was still at $75.

I did see the Bookers, but it was $50, so that one will have to wait until I'm really ballin'.

I'm guessing you split this thread iDiaz? Cuz I don't remember posting this in a seperate thread...

Although, stranger things have happened.

Jaymo 18-year = ambrosia.

I honestly think that's what the angels drink. What else?

Yeah, I had a glass of that when I was in Washington, DC. It was scrumptious.

On another note, Bushmills sucks. It's astringent and doesn't have the tasty caramel flavors that Jameson does.

When the money's right Tyrconnell Irish.http://www.tyrconnellwhiskey.com/ pure pot still single malt.

When it's not; Power's. It's a blend with a single malt taste.

Also in small doses(like Redbreast) Connemara peated single malt.
Dirt aftertaste takes a bit of getting used to.

I like Blanton's for bourbon.

Or if we are talking Scotch I like Macallen.

Alas with the onset of a wife and kids, I don't get to enjoy either as much as I used to.
