oreo, it's somewhere between VPP and DW. This second version of this bike (Banshee Spitfire V2) does pedal really well, much better in granny than the first version. Only done 2 rides on it so far, still dialing things in but I'm liking this bike.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm pretty picky about rear suspensions, and have only ridden two that I like at all (a GT I-drive, and a horst link, which is what I own). I've also heard that the new Trek rear suspension is nice too, but those bikes have gotten really pricey.

FWIW I loved my VPP Intense. That being said my single pivot Foes rides like a dream so....

I've gotten some of the guys at work into mountain bikes and now we have a weekly thing going on saturday mornings....
