Default Replacing the AC compressor with a 2nd alternator? R53

Ok so i apologize in advance if this sounds like a dumb question, but basically i would like to remove the ac lines and compressor, and than replace it with a second alternator.......

i don't use the AC whatsoever, and im not doing it for weight reduction, i simply need to get more current to my audio system. Being that i cant seem to find ANY re-spun or beefed up alternators that will fit in my precious 2002 R53 i thought of this possible solution. So a couple of questions......

1: can it be done? <search turned up nothing>
2: Should it be done?<i dont care that i am loosing ac at all@>
3: If so any tips or pointers? <belt sizes, brand model of alternators>

Thank you in advance.

Pick an alternator, and have a machine shop fabricate a coustom mounting bracket, bolt it up, and measure for correct belt length. That's probably your only option...

I have scene pictures of trucks running 4 or 5 alternators with custom brackets. I can be done but you only Have room for one.... If you ditch the ac.
EDIT: you must have a hell of a system packed in there to really need a second alt.
