Depends....you have any spare engine mounts laying around to take measurements off of?

I've been looking around for some used mounts so I can get the measurements and get them rendered up.

yeah on my list. the trouble with having 2 is the wish list is twice as expensive. I was referring to engine spacers.

oh and if anyone knows someone looking for a MkIV skid plate I have the best one on the market and no MkIV to put it on.

Odds are low. I'm selfish I'm really just making them for myself out of necessity, but would be willing to make a few more for friends while I'm at it. I'm not making them as a business product or anything...

If you're willing to get mounts and measure them, I'm sure you could fab up your own spacers. It's a simple project...especially on the first gen.

Just to ask a dumb question, this would help out with the shitty axle angle when going really low right?

Yes, although I still don't think our axle angle is all that bad.

I'm glad I found this. I bottomed out on a dip in the road the other day and fucked up my A/C condenser, of all things. The plastic bracket that kind of houses the condenser and the radiator is completely cracked and the condenser itself is bent out toward the front of the car. Skid plate is being ordered asap.

Also, Rally, how much would you need/want to raise the engine up? Ideally it would be as much as the car is lowered, but that's not possible given hood clearance, right? I'm interested to see your finished product for the 2nd gen cars, and maybe start working on them for mine. Thanks!
