Ok, so your saying NOBODY should go out onto a track without a complete roll cage of some sort? Makes sense to me, guess I won't be heading to the track any time soon You might want to call Niello MINI and tell them that, has they are one of the main sponsers of Mini Thunder at Thunderhill. Would not want to see them in trouble As we bought the wife's MINI there and hope to see a Roadster there soon!

I thought it was a basal skull fracture because he wasn't wearing a HANS device?

Then why didn't he take the photo from with the seat in the correct position? I don't know the guy, nor his stature, so given what little information was provided, Nate's assumption was a fair one. If he's 6'4, he may very well drive with the seat back that far.

Did you not read my whole post? He went back and put the seat into a "race style" driving position, and it was perfect. BTW, he does not use the harnesses when on the street, since he still has the OEM belts he uses those Oh and about him and his pictures.....take a look at his garage thread....pictures galor

Nathan or Jan, did either of you contact HARDBARUSA and talk to them yet? If yes what did they say. If not, why not? Afraid that the bar they sell can be used and is very safe?
Oh and since this thread was opened up again......no "real" answer on these questions?

That hardbar has severe head trauma/instadeath written all over it, no matter if your wearing the harness or OEM 3-point on the street, track, whatever.
