Nice RHD Mini! Did you convert it or buy an imported one?

It's actually imported from the UK. Got all the titling and registration as well as inspections from all its years over there, all the importation documents, and all the registration and stuff here. It's a COMPLETELY documented car all in plastic sleeves in my room.

Awesome. I've got a LOT of friends that go to school down in Carbondale. I'm from O'fallon, but I'm in Texas going to School. So the Mini stays locked up at the parents house with the chief of police as the neighbor. lol. So I know it's not going anywhere.

That is awesome! I have a couple of buddies that were stationed overseas that brought back cars. Was it a hassle to get yours here?

Well I wasn't the original importer. The person who imported was Airforce and brought it home with him. But when I was looking into importing, it's not as difficult as many play it up to be. As long as the paperwork is all in order, importing is not a huge deal.

Haha. It's not too bad. My family has a thing for sports cars, and toys. But we need big trucks to tow the toys. 28 foot boats don't tow very well behind a Cadillac CTS-V. haha

And thanks again for all the welcomes guys. Love the site. I haven't posted much because I'm just reading through all the old and current threads trying to soak up info before I post.
