If anyone gets much more out of my simple post I can't help that.

Not exactly!

As I have made clear either here or other threads/forums(?) I believe currently the only one to have completely disassembled all of the Sprintex "kit", which includes the main unit all the way down to the rotors, measured everything and yup even flowed the manifolds.

I have never said that I'm sure your car is not fast.....thats obvious from the times it puts down. I just want to know how much it took to do it.

All the best increments at the drag strip for the Sprintex with a Cooper S head on in 2011 indicates we should be able to run a 12.3176 1/4 mile without nitrous.

This will be our first goal for 2012.........unfortunatley I cant seeing us having that much time to try and run a 11 without nitrous as we will have a lot of other R&D projects on the go but we will give it our best shot.

As you can see above LB's car when it was a 1.6 Rotrex made 296 hhp without W/M, admittley on Cali gas which we know is a lot worse than our gas............from what Shawn Church has said on other forums and others who have dyno'd within an 1hr on his dynapck and a local dynojet you have to -7%, so 296hhp - 7% = 277whp, which is quite some number on Cali gas whichever way you look at it.

With W/M it makes 330hhp -7% which is 307whp......though we have acheived 272 whp on our Mustang dyno we might not be able to get near this figure with the current JCW head, but we will try our best with the Sprintex to acheive this.

Whichever way you look at it 2012 will be a good year for MINI petrol heads

Anybody working on anything new? Maby Nelson is out trying to figure out how to wire up a piggyback so he can unlock the power from his recent Turbonator install...
